Q: What is the age cutoff for groups?

  • Age as of May 31st. Incoming Freshman should register with the High School Program.

Q: Do I have to be a strong swimmer to participate?

  • You must be safe and confident in an all-deep facility when events occur at the local high school.

  • Athletes are encouraged to join area Swim Teams to maintain and develop a baseline level of swimming ability to fully enjoy the sport of Water Polo.

    • Also entry level opportunities are available at Subdivision pools with shallow facilities.

  • Naperville Polo has a proven history in developing many Freestyle and Breaststroke Champions!

Q: I am an area Swimmer interested in water polo, can I sign up and who would I play for?

  • Yes, you will be assigned during registration or may vary during season based upon attendees.

  • Athletes will be encouraged to represent their subdivisions and will be grouped accordingly for Fun Friday competitions.

  • Camp Registrations will be limited based upon class capacity limits and coach:athlete ratios.

    • Priority will be given to those planning to attend their respective HS Camp(s).

  • If you will be attending another area High School, contact information for their programming can be provided.

Q: Can I play for my subdivision team in the NSSWPL?

  • Yes, the Camp is intended to provide more advanced formal instruction to prepare athletes for high school and travel competitions. For athletes seeking national club travel opportunities, area Club reference Links have been posted.

  • Since 1999, the NSSWPL is an introductory recreational level League to introduce the sport to area coed age group athletes ages 11U and 14U (pre-high school).
